*netpd* is an environment made for jam sessions on a network basing on
PD (puredata.info). It's a client-server system, so it works on any
network (internet included). It is not just intended as a platform for
creating sounds, but as an environment where every client (i.e. every
computer connected to a NetPD server) can share its pd-patches
(instruments). The most interesting part is that the same patches can be
played through NetPD, and this implemented feature triggers the jam
sessions, welcoming all the different contributions.

*Enrique Erne* was born 1979 began to program in swiss machine industry.
2000 he started dj-ing in Zurich's minimal-techno scene mainly under a
label called Babyshake. He is currently working as free php web-programmer.
With his dear friend Roman Haefeli, Enrique is developing and performing
with netpd since more than two years. Meeting new people, playing
together in different locations / time-zones and developing a flexible
open sound software in collaboration with others are his main
motivations. Newest netpd compatible project is MMM the
MusicMakinMachine, which he builds with SyntaxTheNerd (Germany). Netpd
will not just remain a live-tool but with MMM complex arrangements and
automation become possible as well as a modular-synth with 64 slots for
modules
